In a surprising twist, Joe Biden is lashing out at Elon Musk for what he describes as past immigration violations, accusing the tech billionaire of failing to adhere to student visa requirements back in 1995.

According to Biden, Musk arrived in the U.S. on a student visa but didn’t enroll in his graduate program, choosing instead to build his software company, Zip2, which eventually sold for a lucrative $300 million, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Over the weekend, The Washington Post eagerly joined Biden’s chorus with a critical piece that scrutinized Musk’s visa status from nearly three decades ago, as reported by Breitbart.

This narrative shift by Biden might appear petty to many, especially when considering the staggering number of illegal crossings happening at the southern border under his administration.

With millions entering the country unlawfully, communities nationwide are struggling under the weight of a massive influx that strains local resources and disrupts everyday life.

Yet Biden fixates on Musk’s decades-old “infraction,” as if his brief lapse into work without school attendance is somehow comparable to the escalating border crisis today.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, speaks during a South by Southwest panel in Austin in 2018. SpaceX is planning a rocket engine production facility near Waco, Musk said on social media Saturday.

Biden’s sudden critique of Musk also conveniently coincides with the billionaire’s vocal support of Trump and calls for stricter immigration policies.

Musk’s position isn’t entirely surprising, given his long-standing concerns over the unchecked surge in illegal immigration since Biden’s regime took over.

The ongoing strain placed on towns, states, and taxpayers by this crisis has fueled Musk’s growing alignment with Trump’s campaign, and his newfound advocacy is likely ruffling more than a few feathers in the Biden camp.

With Biden feeling the heat as Trump’s numbers show promising trends, this thinly veiled attack appears to be a ploy to discredit one of Trump’s prominent backers.

As Musk himself put it in a retort on X (formerly Twitter), “So NOW he cares about illegals,” a response that’s earned plenty of nods from conservatives who see Biden’s criticism as hypocrisy at its finest.

Biden and his allies seem to have no problem welcoming millions of illegal migrants into the country, even granting work authorizations and social benefits that burden Americans.

Yet the focus on Musk — one person with a minor visa hiccup from years ago — reeks of desperation.

As the situation escalates, Biden’s commentary seems more like a deflection tactic, distracting from the actual immigration disaster his administration is facing.

Musk, meanwhile, remains firm in his support of legal immigration reforms that would benefit skilled, law-abiding individuals and support America’s needs — quite the opposite of what Biden has allowed under his watch.
